SketchyScan is a scam detection tool that uses AI to analyze content (messages, URLs, QR codes, phone numbers, and files) for potential phishing and fraud indicators. The Service provides assessments but does not guarantee 100% accuracy.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not submit content that violates any laws or third-party rights
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Not use the Service for any malicious purposes
  • Exercise your own judgment alongside our analysis

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that our scam detection will identify all threats or that all flagged content is actually malicious. You should always use your own judgment and not rely solely on our assessments.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKETCHYSCAN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

6. Premium Subscription

If you subscribe to SketchyScan Premium:

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time through the app or by contacting support
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused subscription periods
  • The free tier allows you to evaluate core features before upgrading to Premium

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
